PROFESSIONAL BIO

A standout collegiate athlete at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), Dominic Iovino is a local product of the SC del Sol competitive developmental soccer club, and Deer Valley High School Men’s Soccer program. He adds professional experience and expertise to his athletic career with his involvement with the Long Island Rough Riders (USL/PDL) and the New York Red Bulls (MLS). He has also dedicated his time, and built a foundation with the Arizona Impact (PASL), CD Alcala (Spain D3), the New York Cosmos (NASL), and the FC Arizona Soccer Team (NPSL). Iovino ended is playing career in 2018 with semi-professionally for Sporting FC beating Phoenix Rising advancing in the Open Cup. After years of time off, Iovino returned to the pitch to Play and Captain FC Arizona in NPSL securing his 2nd NPSL conference championship with the organization.

COACHING ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

An experienced club soccer coach, Dom has made his impact in various youth organizations in New York and Arizona. He has managed the Men’s Soccer program at Deer Valley High School and has been the Assistant Coach for the Paradise Valley Community College Men’s Soccer Team. Now in his 7th season with the Anthem organizations, he is our Youth director as well as Field Coordinator. 

In his first season (2017-18) season with Arizona Revolution SC, Iovino coached 2010 boys and 2004 boys.

In his second season (2018-2019) season with Arizona Revolution SC, coached the 2006 boys and 2010 boys.

In his third season (2019-2020) with Phoenix Rising FC, he coached the 2012 boys 1st team and 2010 boys. 

In his 4th season (2020-2021)with Phoenix Rising FC, he coached both 2012 boys 

In his 5th season (2021-2022) with Phoenix Rising FC, he coached the 2012 boys 1st and 2nd team 

In his 6th season (2022-2023) with Phoenix Rising FC, he coached the 2012 1st team & 2013 boys 1st team plus field coordinator 

Returning to his 7th season (2023-2024) with Phoenix Rising FC, he coaches both 2013 boys teams plus functions as Field Coordinator & Youth Director
