Was born in South Carolina but moved to Phoenix as a child where he played for SC Del and Sereno. Then played at Paradise Valley Community College before playing Futsal for one year professionally for Brazas Soccer Club. 

Grey has been coaching for four 4 years as the Head Coach at North Phoenix Preparatory Academy - Great Hearts.
