FAQ

Tryouts

WHY DOES PRFCNV HOST TRYOUTS?
  • PRFCNV is committed to competitive soccer. Competitive soccer allows players to develop individual skills and team skills necessary to play at the player’s highest potential. Hosting a tryout session allows our coaching staff to view the interested players talent, measure them to the other talent on the field and formulate teams accordingly.
WHO CAN TRYOUT?
HOW ARE PLAYERS PLACED ON A TEAM?
  • The head coach of each team and coaching staff will assess both the players individual technical and team skills. The coaching staff will be asked to rank all players on the field. The head coach and staff will then work to formulate teams placing players at their appropriate level of play to maximize their potential and contribution to the team. A player’s dedication to the game and sportsmanship will also be reviewed.
WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP?
  • Every player that is offered a spot on a team will receive a phone call from the head coach.
WHAT MEASURES ARE PRFCNV TAKING TO PROTECT PARTICIPANTS, PARENTS AND VOLUNTEERS DURING THE TRYOUTS?
  • Phoenix Rising FC Youth Soccer - North Valley will continue to adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines that are delivered from both the CDC and Arizona Soccer Association (ASA).
WHY CHOOSE PHOENIX RISING NORTH VALLEY?
  • We are the BEST and MOST COMPETITVE soccer club serving the Phoenix North Valley. We have state ranked teams and have teams that are qualified to play in Presidents Cup and State Cup. We also compete out of state. Our coaching staff is exceptional. Our facilities are among the best in the state. We are committed to being actively engaged in the community.
