REFEREE TRAINING

PRFC North Valley hosts a referee training event annually before the commencement of the new season to certify senior players and parents to referee. Players as young as 12 years old are eligible to become a referee and earn great money every weekend. Unique to PRFC North Valley is oversight and mentorship of Corey Rockwell, an international FIFA referee and a member of the World Cup officiating crew from USA.

FIELDS AND FACILITIES

Players and parents visiting Anthem are envious of the high-quality lash green grass fields our teams get to train and play at throughout the year. As the largest non-profit soccer club in Anthem, PRFC North Valley have unrivaled access to the best fields in the North Valley. A new feature of our program is the introduction of Futsal for team training and technical training – this fast-paced sport is an ideal complement to soccer and will be played in local HS sized gymnasium.

PERSONAL AND SMALL GROUP TRAINING

Dedication is what it takes to be successful in most worthwhile pursuits in life. Parents seeking some extra training opportunities for individuals and small groups can now arrange for a qualified coach through PRFC North Valley. The coaches will follow the club’s technical plan, will be SafeSport certified and will be given training space on fields reserved by the club. This is a unique feature of our player development approach.

PRFC North Valley prides itself on the quality and frequency of communications with its membership. Utilizing all the capabilities of the SportsEngine platform, parents can seamless check practice and game schedules, receive notifications of schedule changes and also share chat, photos and videos amongst the team parents. We also produce a club newsletter every month and a player development newsletter every 2 months.

JUNIOR COACH

PRFC North Valley places a high priority in developing coaching talent for the future. Senior Middle school and high school players have an opportunity to participate in a year-round training program to become an experienced and qualified youth soccer coach. Training includes mentorship and paid attendance on the United Soccer Coaches Youth Diplomas.

CLASSROOM TRAINING SESSIONS AND VIDEO ANALYSIS

A major part of our educational approach to player development is encouraging players to become dedicated to improving their knowledge and awareness of techniques, tactics and performance data. The use of video in the education of players and parents features significantly at PRFC North Valley. Team and club Classroom sessions are arranged to provide players with a coach’s perspective of the game and these sessions are an excellent way to develop players tactical appreciation of the game.
